
Unlocking Opportunities: An Exploration of Financial Aid Programs in Ontario
This project aims to evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of existing financial aid programs in Ontario’s postsecondary education system. The project will assess the alignment of these programs with the financial needs of students, identify potential gaps and barriers, and propose recommendations for program improvements or the introduction of new initiatives. This project identifies areas where financial aid programs may be falling short, whether in terms of eligibility criteria, application processes, funding amounts, or duration of support. By conducting this review, we hope to contribute to the enhancement of financial aid resources, ultimately making postsecondary education more accessible and affordable. Read more.
Bridging the Digital Divide: A Digital Resource Gap Investigation
This project investigates and addresses disparities in access to digital resources among postsecondary students in Ontario. This project aims to identify the digital resource gap, evaluate its impact on students’ academic experiences, and propose practical solutions to ensure equitable access to digital materials and tools. The objective of this project is to examine the availability and accessibility of digital resources, including digital textbooks, software, and study materials, among postsecondary students in Ontario. The project seeks to shed light on the digital resource gap and its potential effects on academic success.
